Conditions for submission |
Articles submitted for publication should not have been published previously in any form, nor should they be under review by another publication.y be another publication. OpenBook Quarterly will also publish articles or materials that have been published elsewhere. |

Length |
There is no length restrictino (of any kind) for articles and other material submitted for OpenBook Quarterly. |
|
Language |
Articles may be in any language used by the author. If possible a short abstract should be added in English, Bosnian, Serbian or Croatian. |
|
Form of submission. |
Articles within the scope of the OpenBook Quarterly journal should be submitted to the Editor either on a disk in Microsoft Word or by e-mail as an inserted file. Authors should use RFT format for textual attachments and any other standard format for accompanying material. |
| Graphic materials |
Illustrations may be used as appropriate. Graphs, which should be in a form suitable for direct reproduction, and complex tables should be submitted in separate files. |
| Abstract |
Each article should have at the end an abstract of up to 250 words summarizing (not merely indicating) the contents. |
| Biographical note and photographs of author(s) |
If the author finds it appropriate a short biographical (or bio-bibliographical) note of 80-120 words should appear at the beginning of the article, following with the author’s photograph. |
| Structure |
Articles should be structured into sections, with headings and (usually) subheadings. The author should use as many levels as needed. |
| References in text |
References in the text should be in the form: Cited Author (year). Precise page numbers may be provided in the text, e.g. [Author, Year, page(s)] If two or more references are made to the same author, they should be listed in date order and take the form Cited Author (Year a), (Year b), etc |
| References to websites |
References to websites of organizations or projects should be given in the text in the form. [http://www.openbook.ba] (visited date). |
| Footnotes |
Where explanatory information cannot be included in the text (as is preferred), footnotes should be used, with a reference in the form [1] in the text leading to a footnote in the form: 1. … |
| References at end of text |
All references to publications, including Web references, should appear at the end of the text in a section headed REFERENCES. |
| Copyright | Authors retain their copyright to the text, but proposals for any subsequent publication should be referred to the Editor, and acknowledgment of first publication in OpenBook Quarterly should be made in any subsequent publication. Typographical copyright in the printed version is owned by the publishers. |
| Bibliographic Style | Any standard non-abbreviated bibliographical quotation (citation) style should be used (such as Harvard, Chicago, Vancouver, MLA, ANSI etc...) Here is a simple style: |
